I have had this shoe for a few months now and can report fully on its initial quality and appearance as well as its performance. Initial quality of the shoe was totally fine. There were no blemishes or obvious imperfections or places that were over glued, no bad stitching or anything of that nature. The appearance of the shoe is great! The navy blue and sky blue color combination is really clean and looks awesome with blue jeans. This shoe looks well in larger sizes too. I wear a 12 and these do no look like boats on my feet like some shoes do. The shoe performs well. It is comfortable when walking and when skateboarding. I have noticed that the shoe does not absorb vibrations very well. My feet do start to hurt/tingle a bit when skateboarding of rough pavement. The flat bottom and grip of the shoe are great for pushing on the skateboard. The durability of the shoe may possibly be an issue. The white trim around the sole of the shoe is starting to separate from the sole. There is a seam right where you foot would be bending with each step and this is exactly where it is starting to come lose. I will post an update if a serious issue develops.Pros:Appearance/StyleReasonable PriceCon:Possible durability issues for those who actually skateboardIf you are a girl buying men DC shoes then you have to expect a little bit of an ill fit, at first anyway. I am a size 8 normally and have found that the DC size 6 works well for me. It takes about two days to get them feeling right but after that they are a great shoe!! The only time a DC 6 has not worked out for me is when I ordered a leather pair (different style but still DC) and although they "fit" there wasn't any walking around in them more than a few feet because of how narrow they were. Was just way too uncomfortable. Of course, I was able to send them back with no problems and get refunded promptly. No worries.Since I was ordering this product based on looks and didn't try this model on in person, I ordered both the 12 and the 13 since my foot is 12 1/2. It depends on the brand if a 12 or 13 fits. In this case, the 13 was too big, but the 12 felt it could become comfortable as it was overly snug at first. After giving the shoes some time to break in, they felt really good, except the sole on my left. Apparently, I have walked it down enough to let rain and snow soak my sock if I walk in it long enough. Other than that, I am pleased and did get a couple compliments when they were new and shiny with my checkered laces, but there's no excuse for the bottoms being worn so much in less than six months. Overall OK.I am an avid skateboarder and needed a new shoe, so i saw this one and also saw that it was on sale so i decided to go for it. It came early which is always nice. The shoe is spacious and this is nice especially because i have big feet (hehe) and it feels very comfortable when i skateboard. It lasted me pretty long (as i bought two pairs) before a hole starts to form from the wear and tear of skating around and doing tricks. The fabric used is nice as well and smooth when you first get it. Also in my opinion, it's pretty stylish if you just want to wear it for the looks and as i said earlier: it's comfortable so that's a plus. I will probably keep getting these shoes in the future as it's to MY kind of liking; preference. The only thing that i wish it came with was an extra pair of shoelaces because those tend to rip pretty quickly.Edit: I figured I'd rewrite this considering I bought another pair. Originally I bought a size 11, as that's what I normally wear in other brands, and while it did fit it wasn't very comfortable. So I bought the next size up (11.5) and they are /super/ comfortable. I'd recommend trying on a pair in stores to see what size fits then ordering the colour you want here on Amazon.Old review: First off I absolutely love the way these look. Seems like this style is currently out of fashion as there's hardly anything similar out there. However they are a little too small and somewhat uncomfortable as a result. Strangely enough the left shoe seems to fit slightly better than the right. I'm hoping they will stretch a little after wearing them for awhile, but I'm not sure that will happen. Otherwise I like them. So consider getting half a size larger than what you normally would.We got these and another brand of skate shoe for our teen son. These took a little longer to come in, but he was very happy to come home from vacation to a new pair of shoes. The shoes fit nicely & he is satisfied with these. He quickly put them on and laced them up. He said they fit great. He mentioned they were a bit stiffer than his other new shoes, but it wasn't bothering him, more of just the way they fit and getting used to it. He was just wearing these today :). I'm glad to have found some shoes he likes and at a great price on Amazon! He's growing very fast recently & it's hard to keep him in shoes that fit & please him in style.Pretty standard shoe - but a decent value for the price and they look good. Always risky with shoe sized on line. I normally wear a 10 in sneakers / shoes made in Asia / SE Asia - which these are - and they fit fine. Arch support is not horrible but again, pretty standard sneaker support which is just ok now but will likely compress and be less effective over time. For stylish / casual to wear with a pair of jeans etc., these are great. Maybe a touch on the "warm" side but again, nothing out of the ordinary for sneakers in this price range.If you have a wider foot, they will tend to feel a bit narrow at first, but quickly loosen up as they break in. Very comfortable shoes. I wear them for both daily wear and skate boarding. This is my third pair and probably not my last (if they keep making them). They are pretty durable, but if you skate in them you will wear a hole in the bottom eventually, But that is what happens when soft rubber meets abrasive grip tape so no surprises there. I like the support across the top (above the ball of the foot) and the board feel with these shoes. Hiking shoes they are not, and probably not the best choice if you are on your feet all day, but they are plenty comfortable for general all day wear. I can definitely recommend DC shoes based on my experience with them.Love dc shoes ive had mine for a year now still in pretty good condition and I wear them everyday so comfortable and smart looking goes with everything just ordered a new pair in a different colorThere alright, didnt last long and make your feet stinkSome slight scuffing however given the price I paid it is more than acceptable fit great and look better than they do in the picture.I only wair dc shoes, and these came up to high standard as expected. Fitted perfectly. Very satisfied.Great pair of sneakers.
