I think if the planter had a tray beneath it to collect any excess water, that would make it the perfect planterI have a few different shapes of this planter. Both hanging and not hanging. They are great - long lasting. Using for hanging plants by front door right now - very happy with them.These are much bigger tan they look in picture. I love them. I put a pathos in one with some potting soil and miracle grow. It seems like it doubled in size overnight. It was actually about three weeks but it doubled. ThanksThese baskets look great but they are big and become very heavy (25-30lbs) when watered. Can’t use with my shepherds hooks unfortunately.These are made very well look very nice hanging on my patio...These are heavy duty, large and hold moisture very well.
