elho Pure Straight Round 65 White Planter - Modern Indoor/Outdoor Flower Pot for Home Decor, Office & Garden Planting

I really like the modern simple design of this pot which is great for a contemporary themed garden. But the pot itself is very lightweight and the walls very thin and flexible so in time might not withstand the force of the roots as the plant grows. There is also an internal rim around the top edge which makes the walls of the plant pot look thicker but this rim might prevent or make it very difficult to remove plants for repotting without destroying the pot once the plants outgrow it.These are plastic, which I was aware of, but having read reviews I trusted that because of reasonably high price they would look amazing. I bought 5 and unfortunately, was so keen to get my plants potted up, I've used them all so unable to return. They look really cheap on my terrace and I will have to now buy more to replace them. So £175 wasted, my fault. I'd rather have bought two or three really nice pots for the money.No doubt they are tough quality plastic and will last but really don't like the appearance. Will be replacing asapThis product sets some expectations, it says it can be a centrepiece and its designed for indoor use, which would indicate a higher level of finish than outdoors pots.The finish is not uniform on the edge of the two pots I got, smoother more rounded on on, a flat line not sanded smooth on the other, a slight drip. Don't expect the same standards of finish as another household object.The pots do seem as strong as promised.The design is superb (in my opinion) in shape and white matt colour as in the photos.The surface has little recesses not visible to the eye but if soil is wiped off with some pressure it goes into the micro holes and leaves a dirty look which has proved very hard to get rid of. Now I've learned not to press down when wiping!On the sky facing edge of the pot the company's name is in slightly raised letters which is not detailed in description. This may bother some people I don't like it especially without being advised of it in the description before purchase.If you're looking for a piece of perfect object this is not it, despite the original prices of this range being very high, but it does give a much higher quality impression from a small distance than most others do.Łove it replacing all my old pots for Elho have got a few and am putting them into groups / really pleased / and so easy to move about and keep cleanThis pot would be perfect if it didn’t have a big rim around it that water collects when you try and drain it out. I had to scoop the water into a pint cup, throw that out and get the rest with kitchen towel.
