I'm not a tea connoisseur, more of a coffee drinker. I bought this product for a change of pace. I was surprised at the texture (there are pictures but I didn't pay attention). It's kind of granular like medium grind coffee. Anyway, it's easy to handle and measure. The packaging is sensible and convenient for long term shelf storage (it could be a year before I drink this much tea). As I recall the shopping experience, this particular product is at an excellent (i.e. LOW) price. Tastes good; I'm completely satisfied with this purchase. If I decide to broaden my tastes I'll look first to this brand.
