The flavor concentration to coffee like a bitter chocolate taste and aromaI’ve tried many purified shilajit brands but the dosage to price ratio is unbeatableI wanted to like this but there are to many issues. The listing states certified organic. Nope. No where to be found on the packaging. The listing says both 500 and 700. Well it’s 500mg. Quality product should be black. This is brown… not even dark… No where in the listing does it give a report on quality of ingredients and what tested metals or minerals are in the product. Important because there is a disclaimer about lead exposure on the package. Post it please… last but not least… the package has zero warnings about fluoride and chlorine when taking this product. Those are standards in tap water and anyone who takes these acids knows you can’t mix them with out risking cancer. My overall take is the company is to busy making money to ensure proper quality control and disclosure for public safety on their products. Another issue is it states an allergy warning about being packaged with peanuts and nuts and says don’t eat..if you have a nut allergy don’t order this product. Disclosures need to be clearly listed on this listing for all issues.. A report showing the grade and metals or possible contaminates should be listed in the listing.…Disappointed customer.Tastes horrible but most things that are good for you are. This product doesn’t seem to be up to par. I don’t feel any of the benefits but I darn sure feel the horrible taste of Asphalt. Good luck.I will be 55 years old in a couple of months. I have been taking a capsulized form of Shilajit for about 8 years now. It was good, and imported directly from Tibet. When flooding knocked out the factory that produced the capsules, and a delay of several weeks happened and I was without the product, I immediately noticed that my energy level went down and I felt drained and foggy. I heard that my old supply would come through shortly, but because of not having any Shilajit, I decided to try this product.I have now switched from the old product to this one exclusively. I was taking about 1000mg to 2000mg of the capsules. I take a quarter teaspoon of this, mix it with some juice and drink it down before my morning shower. By the time I dry myself off, I am very alert and awake and ready for the day.I am always quite surprised when people say how amazing I am for my age. I don't feel like I'm 55 at all, more like I'm in my late 20's. Now to be honest, I have been taking vitamins and supplements practically daily since I went to University at age 20, and that has helped a lot, I am sure, but I adjust what I take from time to time. When I was introduced to Shilajit, I knew I had found a winner.One package of this has lasted my wife and I over 4 months. I still have a lot of it to use in the days that come. While I may miss taking it 3 or 4 days out of a month, I fully expected one bag to only last me about 2 months of pretty much daily use. It has lasted double that and I still have more.To me, this is a hands down winner. All Aces in my book.I have tried several variations of Shilajit, having only learned of it's existence weeks ago, and while now I actually found a guy who goes gets it for me RAW from The HIMALAYAS,this stuff here is as good s it gets. Being Extremely hygroscopic,there are undesirable additives in most powdered versions which keep it powdered.Beware of ASH, discovered predominantly in capsule form. !I am saying that in THIS BRAND the additives, if any, do not seem to be adverse. I bought some light brown stuff before this and it is stable in air, not as strong, and don't feel the energy bump, that this brand provides.THIS STUFF wants to turn to RESIN real fast upon entering the air environment,and is DARK BROWN strong smokey taste, which is exactly what it supposed to be and do. Being a powder,the Shilajit in it's pure form, OOZES from the Himalayan mountaintops and is processed to powder. My "TREKKER" described this brand as "INTERESTING". I do use the unprocessed stuff, but supplement it with this,due to the high cost of the pure, but mainly due to a rationed supply. There is a regimen which I seek, which can extend life from 100-1000 years. I experienced an IMMEDIATE improvement in the specified, bodily functions. I mix a teaspoon in a BOOST, high protein drink, shake it good, and it dissolves with no clumping. The smokey taste make the milky based BOOST tastes like a unique iced coffee. I transfer mine to a COBALT Blue Glass jar as this was a secret the Ancients used, as the sacred light spectrum keeps it charged. Three times a day for me. 100 Grams per package, the recommended dose is 1 gram per day, to START.{1000mg} Significantly increased my energy level,speaking only for myself at 60 years old. I will be ordering more of this. FIVE STARS.This product is more of a base line minimal supplement for Shilajit. The more expensive ones that are tar, are more effective in increasing focus, concentration, and energy. This product for me gives me a daily foundation. Takes away brain fog.Great health benefits, but tastes terrible and the flavor will dominate absolutely anything you put it in. I first tried putting a half teaspoon in my matcha, but it tasted like I was drinking dirt. I then tried to mask it in my smoothie with 8 different ingredients, including potent flavors like vanilla MCT powder or protein powder, and mangos, pineapple and berrries, and once again the small half teaspoon of Shilajit overtook them all and it was all I could taste.
