The Good:1. Tastes good and clean (as in no chemical or pesticide taste that I can detect). Tastes about the same as the Simply Organic kind that I had (which I suspect is owned by the same comapny anyway?).2. The source on the website says United States/Israel as the source. So I am guessing this means it is either or both of them.3. This is in a glass Jar which is re-usable and as far as I know, Glass does not easily leach chemicals into food.4. It is about the same size as the Simply Organic spice jar (.56 compared to .54).5. sealed very well. The seal is difficult to get off but this also brings reassurance that nobody tampered with it. The seal did not seem to drop any particles in my Cilantro as I took off the seal.The Bad:1. The lid is plastic and the hinge on it looks like it will fail easily. These jars would probably not make very good re-usable spice jars due to the lid. Simply Organic lids are metal and the only plastic part is the little screen that has holes in it to let the spice out. The Simply organic jars last years when washed and re-used (even the plastic).
