Not sized to American men's bodies.. WAY too Small. It's like a Boy's Large/Medium.Even on the Skinny model in the photo, wearing Only a t-shirt underneath; there's Tension on the buttons!?Large? haha.Also, I'd say this sweater fabric is Half as thick one would expect from a lightweight sweater. Very Thin.A retiree, I don't have to go to the office or stand in front of a classroom, but I do appreciate casual clothing that is well-made and reasonably priced, and the State cashmere cardigan is both. In addition, the bright navy color seals the deal. I would probably have ordered a large, my usual size, but the web page's advice to go with the XL was a word to the wise worth listening do, which I did. No complaints. Both thumbs up.I normally wear a Large, but had to buy an extra large as the large was a little short in the body and snug -- but extra large is perfect -- this is not a winter weight sweater; it is light weight intended for wear in cool, but not cold, settings -- wonderful for the aircraft or shopping mall but not the ski slope -- excellent range of colorsThe cardigan is the right weight (not too thin, nor too heavy). I like that it is a 'winter white' and that it is, for me, not overly thick (it is cashmere, after all). I sometimes get a little overheated in it but only ever wear a v-neck t-shirt under it with a scarf, usually. The large fit perfectly -- it was not too short on my waist (I'm 6') which was what made it a keeper.I love both my sweaters. They are exactly what I was hoping for. I bought them to take with me to France because I prefer cardigan "boyfriend" sweaters to jackets. They were perfect for the trip and I still enjoy them at home. They arrived in time for my trip. I had just discovered a hole in the sleeve of my previous purchase so I chose to find a new place to make my purchase.
