If you are expecting finished ribbon, this is NOT for you! This product is not ribbon ... It is simply cut off remnants of silk fabric. Almost all woven fabric will fray, but this was ridiculous! I spent over an hour unraveling the hank of fabric strips I received (strips sewn end to end in approximately 24” sections), cutting off the many, MANY silk threads, and finally rolling the strips into a usable, neat balls. The pic of the balls shows the big bundle of threads cut from the hank. The pic of the hank the seller has posted is obviously after they removed all the unraveled threads.This is a good product if you want a rustic, shabby chic, unraveled look. Keep that in mind when you purchase.
